| Mode Of Action | selective alpha1 adrenoreceptor-blocking agent. Blockade of a1-adrenoceptors can cause smooth muscles in the bladder neck and prostate to relax, resulting in an improvement in urine flow rate and reduction in symptoms in BPH. |
